Another Poll

Yes, we've added another poll this is on M&M's and Kissables. The candies reffered to in this poll are the milk chocolate kinds. We decided to go with a topic that was a little less heated, and candy coated this time. We really got a lot of response on our last poll, but it was all from the same handfull of people. If some of you want to continue the debate when we get home we will be more than happy to do so. We needn't remind you of our request that goes for all polls on THE BLOG. If some of you don't remember what this request is, leave a comment asking about it, and we will post it again.

  1. The last poll was fun to argue. Part of that might be the fact that I am 1,000 miles away from Oregon and a lot farther than that from you guys right now. But I am trying to keep my string of voting for the best (which is whatever I vote for even if it dosen't win). I must go with M&M's.

  2. I'll go with M&M's, but don't you think that's quite broad? There are peanut M&M's, milk chocolate M&M's, peanut butter M&M's, dark chocolate M&M's, dark chocolate peanut M&M's, mini M&M's, almond M&M's, and those fancy new premium flavored ones.

  3. I cannot in a clear conscience vote in this poll since I've never even heard of Kissables. Forgive me for my lack of savvy in the world of mass-produced confections. If you were allowing premium M&M's to be considered, they would win easily. I'm pretty sure they're better than any other food on earth with the exception of bacon.

  5. For one to properly answer this question one must have some rudimentary understanding of "The Great Chocolate War." This is the ongoing bitter/sweet struggle engaged in by the two opposing factions, Hershey, and Mars. These two candy coated juggernauts have battled it out since the turn of the century both desperately grasping for that great prize, THE AMERICAN CANDY MARKET. In fact Hershey (kissables) and Mars (M&M) were once one and the same company but they split, thus beginning the war. I wont bore you with an in-depth dissertation on the intricacies of Chocolate-dom, but suffice to say M$M's are so far superior to the pathetic kissables it makes me nauseous. Kissables are merely Hersheys lame attempt to undercut Mars at its core. But despite Hersheys underhanded tactics Mars still stands tall producing the finest candy in its class. In short; the m&m is the perfect balance between the sweet crunch of the candy coat and the luscious silkyness of the chocolate.

  8. The krunchy kissables are the best!! I notice that when passed out to my class, they disappeared in short order!!

  9. I would have to vote for M&Ms (particularly if I could choose the Peanut Butter version). And yes there should be a lot less argument on this poll. However, some of you out there just like to argue no matter the subject!

  10. My vote is for M&M's you cant go wrong with the little M&M men and women. Just look at those big eyes and round little bodies of hard candy protecting a luscious chocolate body. AAAAHHHH!!! And like Loren said, Kissables are a poor attempt to make competition

  16. I have to vote for M&M's. They are simply hard to beat. I just don't think that kissables quite make the cut.
